Women in War Zones is a movement. We will not rest till women and children around the world know security and know a life apart from sexual violence, war, poverty and hopelessness. We know that the key to this INCREDIBLE goal is reaching out to YOU, instilling passion and outrage over senseless violence against defenseless victims and giving you a way to DO something about it.
Knowledge is the greatest weapon in this war. Rapists, Inept politicians, defunct judicial systems and attackers of the worst kind thrive in environments of disinterest, complacency and ignorance. YOU can do something about that.

Start a club on campus and get your peers fired up and involved in the movement.
Every day thousands of pieces of change get thrown onto side-walks, lost forever in sofa cushions and tinkle down sink drains. We say... there's something better we can use all of those nickels and dimes for. Around the world, women are begging for change and are yearning for people who can bring that change to them, to surface.
Women in War Zones' Buckets of Change campaign ties these two things together - your extra pocket change and the women in desperate need of change. You can join us in this movement by committing to filling one of our WiWZ buckets and returning the contents or its equivalent to our Los Angeles address. While you're at it, send us a photo of you and your bucket so we can display you and your awesomeness on our site and in our office!
